Ms H had taken on an employee via a recruitment consultancy, the employee was dismissed and Ms H wanted to know if she was liable for their charges

What did we advise?
We advised her that the agreement stated she would be given 100% refund if an employee was dismissed within four weeks. As the employee had been dismissed after 21 days we therefore advised her to issue a P45 to the dismissed employee as soon as possible and then they wouldn’t be liable for any charges.
