Litigation

Mr S, London
Mr S ran a building firm who had been instructed to undertake some work. They carried out the work but their client was unwilling to pay stating that the work was not of good quality.

What did we advise?
On the instructions we had received we advised our client that they were in a good position to initiate legal proceedings as the work had been inspected by an independent third party expert who confirmed that the work was of good quality and that the Defendant was merely trying to avoid payment. We stated that we would need an express report.  We advised as to the merits of the case and how to commence proceedings and the evidence that needed to be required to be successful.

Our client was happy with the advice we gave and subsequently instructed our sister firm, Stanley de Leon solicitors to conduct the litigation on his behalf.
